Perhaps We Don’t Need Another Idea: Just Live.

A thought for tonight.

What if I don’t need an epiphany, or to come up with another idea?

What if I just need to live. Perhaps we just need to pick one of the hundred ideas we already have and do one.  What if we pick one, and work on it for a long time?

Perhaps our insistence on perpetually creating is preventing us from taking action on a great idea we already have.  I mean we don’t want to create and never take action, do we?

Don’t we want to act?

We may have made all kinds of excuses.  I don’t live in the right place, I need more time, money, etc.  No.  We just need to start.  We need to take a chance and see what happens.  We need to commit time and resources to trying our idea, and doing the hard work of developing it.

Perhaps what we need to do is quit creating and take action already.  We have heard about some of the best ideas, because someone stopped and took action on them.  They worked hard to bring their idea to life, and lived through many failures to see their idea become a success.

Let’s live.  Let’s quit looking for some special formula that will produce the next best idea. Let’s just pick one and take action.  It’s not magic.  It’s you doing what you have been sitting around way too long thinking about.

Let’s get to it.  I am.
